Compared with CR-39, Dagas Super Hi-Index AS UV lens can be designed 38.8% thinner. By using MR-8 monomer, Dagas Hi-Index AS UV lens is 24% lighter and 29% thinner than CR-39 lens. Since Abbe Value (abbe #42) is higher than the other high index lens that is made up of acryl material, it has more clear and distinctive view. Due to low specific gravity(=1.19), it is 10% lighter than normal middle index lens and 21% lighter than CR-39 (Diopter : S-4.00) Since Dagas Middle Index AS lens is thinner and lighter than CR-39, it is suitable for those people who wear relatively high diopter glasses.
